Active immunisation against poliomyelitis
Adult: As inactivated trivalent vaccine of polio virus types 1,2,3: Primary immunisation: 3 doses of 0.5 mL, given via IM or SC inj at least 8 weeks apart. Booster dose of 0.5 mL is given every 10 years for patient with increased risk of exposure.
Child: As inactivated trivalent vaccine of polio virus types 1,2,3: ≥6 weeks Primary immunisation: Same as adult dose. Booster dose of 0.5 mL is given at 4 years of age.
